Campuses and faculties
The operations of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences are mainly located on three campuses.
The Frami area, the main campus of Seinäjoki
University of Applied Sciences, serves some 3,000 students. The fields
of education on Frami campus include technology, culture and design,
business, hospitality management, social work, elderly care and
Of the other campuses, Koskenalantie campus has some 600 health care students and Ilmajoki campus
some 400 students in the field of natural resources. In addition, Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences operates in other municipalities through the Regional Higher Education Center,
offering multiform and adult education in the regions of Alajärvi,
Kauhajoki, Kauhava, Kurikka and Ähtäri.
Along with the new Frami F building, the entire Frami area constitutes a unique
campus. Multidisciplinary cooperation between the teaching and RDI
activities of the different fields will increase, and the opportunities
to deepen cooperation with companies will improve further. Our close
cooperation with the University Consortium of Seinäjoki will also find
Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences has four faculties.
The School of Business and Culture offers
education, research and development in the Frami campus in the fields of Business, Entrepreneurship, Cultural Management, Design and Library and Information Services.
The School of Food and Agriculture offers education in Agriculture in Ilmajoki campus and the following in the Frami campus area in Seinäjoki: Hospitality Management, Food Processing and Biotechnology, and Forestry.
The School of Health Care and Social Work consists
of the unit of Heath Care in Koskenalantie campus and the unit of
Social Work in the Frami campus area, both located in Seinäjoki.
The School of Technology offers education in Seinäjoki, mainly in the premises of the Frami campus area.
