About us

Welcome to the Business School of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences

The Business School of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, with about 1,400 students and 100 staff members, operates at three different sites. The students graduating from the three units of the Business School are Bachelors of Business Administration (the units in Seinäjoki) or Bachelors of Tourism, Catering and Institutional Management (the unit in Kauhajoki). Business students specialize in entrepreneurship and in business in general in two different units in Seinäjoki. There are also two degree programmes in International Business (Bachelor and Master levels), taught completely in English. At the Kauhajoki unit students specialize in service management.

All our graduating students possess high-quality professional know-how; in our curricula, meeting the requirements of working life is given priority. The contents of the degree programmes have been designed in cooperation with businesses and organisations in the region. We train our students for modern society, characterised by internationalisation, networking and the utilisation of new technologies.

Our students are provided with up-to-date tuition, expert counselling and modern learning facilities. Students co-operate with businesses and organisations in different projects, practical training and thesis work. Students can design their personal curricula counting on a flexible curriculum, a wide choice of courses, extensive international links and industrial connections. The Business School has an international atmosphere with students and teachers coming from a number of partner institutions every year.

We strive to do our best to create an encouraging and supportive learning environment and  to prepare our students in the best possible way for their future careers. Please feel free to learn more about us from these webpages and in case of questions you can always turn to our international staff.
