We act with high future orientation. Our top areas are Economics and Technology. The key subjects in Ilmajoki are Plant production, Animal husbandry and Environmental studies. In Tuomarniemi the mains are Timber production and Timber and wood product marketing. The specialists in economics and technology must have a wide view among the top areas.

Our strategy is “Research – Learn – Develop – Enterprise ”.

In Ilmajoki there is carried out research work in outdoor GPS positioning and indoor WLAN –positioning. GPS is applied in better nutrient applying and leakage control on fields. WLAN -Indoor positioning is applied in controlling the animal welfare.

In Tuomarniemi the students can meet modern timber harvesting technology. The education in timber production gives a strong background in different tasks in various timber production chains. The timber and wood product marketing gives a good preparedness in domestic and international timber trade.
