Social Programme of the International Week and Conference

The International Guests of the International Week and Conference of Seinäjoki UAS are welcome to join in the social programme organised during the week.
Please notice that due to reservations signing in for these activities in the registration form is necessary.

Monday 15 March 2010
19.00-22.00 Welcome Party at Restaurant Marttilan Talli, Seinäjoki 
                       The restaurant is located at a walking distance from the hotels in the city centre of Seinäjoki. Address: Puskantie 38

Tuesday 16 March 2010
15.00-17.00 Guided Alvar Aalto Centre Walking Tour, Seinäjoki
                       The Aalto Centre is located in the heart of Seinäjoki City. The tour starts in the front of the City Hall main entrance. 

Wednesday 17 March 2010
18.00-24.00 Winter Evening Gathering at Kuharanta Venue in Kuortane  
                       Buses to Kuortane leave in front of City Hotel (next to Hotel Alma) and Sokos Hotel Vaakuna at 17.15 and the 
                       bus trip takes a bit more than half an hour.
                       The evening includes outdoor activities, dinner and sauna (towels included). For the outdoor activities, 
                       please notice the temperature in Finland in March: Weather Forecast in Seinäjoki. 

Thursday 18 March 2010
19.00-20.30 Seinäjoki City Reception at Törnävä Manor. 
                       Bus transportation to the reception leaves in front of Sokos Hotel Vaakuna and CityHotel (next to Hotel Alma) 
                       at 18.40 and it takes about 10 minutes to drive to Törnävä Manor.
