Online application form

Prospective students may apply for as many as four different degree programmes conducted in English at www.admissions.fi.

The order of the most preferable options should be chosen carefully, because it cannot be changed after the application period closes. Place your options in your genuine order of interest, because if you are accepted to a higher option, you cannot be accepted to your lower options in any circumstance.

The online application service is available from 11 January 2010 until 12 February, 4:15 pm Finnish time (+2 hrs GMT). During the application period, the service is available 24 hours a day, except for short maintenance periods during the night.

The application service guides and helps applicants to fill in the application form and provides information concerning studying and the application process.

Follow the instructions carefully and submit the application. The Admissions Office at the UAS of your first choice receives the online application directly. Applicants are only allowed to submit one application form. If an applicant submits more than one form, only the last one will be taken into consideration. Print a copy of the application form for yourself for future reference.

A paper application form is available at the Admissions Offices, if you don't have access to internet. Please remember that a paper application form must arrive by post at the UAS of your first choice by 12 February 2010 at 4:15 pm Finnish time. A postal stamp from that date will not be sufficient. Scanned or faxed copies are not accepted. All applications arriving after the closing date will not be processed.

Changes to the application

• The order of preference can only be changed during the application period.
• Changes in address, E-mail address or other relevant personal details can be changed at any time.
• All changes in the application or additional information must be sent in writing (e.g. by E-mail) to the Admissions Office of the primary UAS.

The use of educational agencies not recommended

The Finnish National Board of Education, the Finnish universities of applied sciences and the Finnish embassies are co-operating in informing foreign applicants that it is absolutely unnecessary and not recommended to use educational consultants for making an application to Finnish universities of applied sciences.
