FINNISH MATRICULATION EXAMINATION AND VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Applicants who have taken the Finnish matriculation examination (ylioppilastutkinto) and who also have a vocational qualification (ammatillinen perustutkinto) may choose which certificate they use for applying.  

Applicants with Finnish matriculation examination will be admitted on the basis of the combined points for previous school performance and the entrance examination. See details by selecting Finnish Upper Secondary Education on the left. Please note that you will not get points for the grade point average of upper secondary school leaving certificate. You will only get points for the grades in matriculation examination.  

Applicants with vocational qualification will be admitted on the basis of the entrance examination only. See details by selecting Finnish Vocational Qualification on the left.
