NON-FINNISH QUALIFICATION

You can apply with the following qualifications completed outside Finland:

  • Non-Finnish degree or qualification which gives eligibility for higher education in the awarding country

You may not apply to UAS degree programmes using a polytechnic/UAS or a university degree. You should have a completed high school / senior secondary / upper secondary education proven by a final graduation diploma or certificate.

To demonstrate eligibility for UAS studies, you must provide the attachments mentioned below. All copies of certificates and authorized translations of them must be posted or delivered to the Admissions Office at the UAS of your first choice by the designated deadline. Scanned or faxed copies are not accepted. If you use the online application, you are given an applicant code. Please write down the code to the copies, this will help the Admissions Office to process your attachments.

If you are NOT a citizen of an EU/EEA country:

1. A copy of the original educational certificate

You must have completed the education you use for applying by the end of the application period. Please send a copy of the original educational certificate to the Admissions Office of your first choice of UAS by 24 February 2012 at 16.15 Finnish time (+2 GMT).

A copy of the school leaving certificate with final grades (and an authorized translation of it) must be delivered by 31 July 2012 at 16.15 Finnish time at the latest. The admission is conditional until the final certificate (and the translation) has been checked. Please contact the Admissions Office at Seinäjoki UAS during the application period if you wish to be considered for discretionary admission.
