2. Register for an IELTS or TOEFL -English language skills test, if needed, early enough! For further information please choose English Language skills on the left.

4. Fill in an online application at www.admissions.fi during the application period: 
   9 January – 14 February 2012, 16.15 Finnish time (+2 GMT). For further information please choose Application on the left. 
     
5. Please send the required attachments to the Admissions Office in the UAS of your first choice by 24 February 2012, 16.15 Finnish time (+2 GMT). Please check exceptions and details: Certificates to use for applying
    
6. Invitations to entrance examinations will be sent to the eligible applicants from the middle of March on.
    
7. Seinäjoki UAS will arrange entrance examinations in April 2012 both in the city of Seinäjoki and outside Finland. Please visit the page Entrance examinations (on the left)
    
8. Applicants will be informed of their admission results on 29 May at the earliest and on 17 July 2012 at the latest. If you have been placed on a reserve place you may be admitted at a later date. You can find further information on the left at Admission results.
    
9. Non-EU/EEA-citizens need to apply for a residence permit for studies. Proof of secure income and health insurance are required when applying for the residence permit. Please find further information by Finnish Immigration Service at www.migri.fi > In English > Students.
    
10. Admitted students must confirm they will accept their study place by 31 July 2012 at 16.15 Finnish time at the latest. At the same time you also need to register for the academic year 2012-2013. For further information please choose Admission results on the left.
     
11. Studies start at the change of August/September 2012 (exact date will be informed in the letter of admittance).
      
12. Certificates, that the applicant has used for applying, will be checked during the first two weeks of studies. The admission is conditional until the original certificates are checked.
