Studies

Non-degree studies in Finnish 

Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) also provides non-degree education in Finnish language which comprises of professional specialisation studies, graduate studies as well as other educational services and virtual education.

- Professional specialisation studies

Professional specialisation studies are extensive supplementary studies which support professional development and they are primarily arranged for people with higher education or vocational degree or other equivalent level of education.

The extent of professional specialisation studies are 30-60 credits.


- Open education in universities of applied sciences

Open education is also provided in SeAMK. Open studies in university of applied sciences are either all-round education or professional with an emphasis to working life.

Open education in university of applied sciences is available for everyone, regardless of previous studies or age. There is a registration for each course.

- Other educational services

Educational services are a flexible form of adult education realised in cooperation with those funding the education and those requiring it. Educational services comprise of shorter projects. Both SeAMK teachers and external specialists are used in educational services.


- E-learning virtual studies

SeAMK offers also virtual education. Education and instruction given in the web are an important element of studies.

In SeAMK, virtual studies are usually carried out in Moodle learning environment.
