Finnish language courses in Seinäjoki UAS

In Seinäjoki UAS, the degree students in the International Business and Nursing programmes are offered four Finnish language courses. The students who study in Seinäjoki UAS for a semester or two may participate in two Finnish Language and Culture courses specially aimed at non-degree students. Course descriptions (in short):
Finnish 1-4 (International Business, Nursing)
You can tell about yourself and your everyday life in Finnish. You are able to run errands e.g. in a shop, restaurant and health care center in Finnish. You can also express yourself in basic working life situations. You also get familiar with Finland as a country and the Finnish way of living.

Finnish Language and Culture 1-2
(non-degree students)
You know survival Finnish and are able to communicate e.g. in a shop and restaurant. You also get familiar with Finland as a country and the Finnish way of living.

Finnish language courses offered by other institutions

 In addition, Seinäjoki UAS encourages all students to study the Finnish language on their own time by searching for online study methods and by using the course offerings of the local institutions such as the Finnish for foreigners courses at Seinäjoki Upper Secondary School, the Fintandem method or Finnish language courses at Seinäjoki Adult Education Centre, and so on.
