Altogether six European universities and research institutions participated the planning of the Master in Wood Energy Programme 2012 - 2015. The programme is planned to be started first in Hungary and Finland, but the other members of the consortium may also take part in its implementation e.g. by providing the students with placements and thesis making opportunities.
The most important access requirement is a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (min. 180 ECTS). Seinäjoki UAS has a special requirement: three (3) years of work experience after the bachelor’s degree. English language skills and other requirements are explained in the brochure.
An individual study plan will be made for the students selected to the programme. Teaching language is English. Graduating students will receive a degree from both universities. The scope of the Master degree is 1.5 years/90 ECTS at both universities. So the programme consists of three semesters, of which one is organized in Sopron, Hungary, and one in Seinäjoki, Finland. The third one is used for thesis preparation. Certain courses can be done in electronic studies / distance learning. The degree title will be Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Seinäjoki UAS.
Students from countries outside EU/EEA areas shall pay tuition fees.
