ERIAFF Conference Food Safety 2020 was held at SeAMK 12–13 June 2018. There were participants from all over Europe, approximately 150 guests. Over 30 international speakers inspired with their interesting presentations and speeches.

About the Conference:

FOOD SAFETY 2020 Conference is an opportunity for everyone involved in the food sector from all European regions to gather and exchange knowledge on food safety issues, and meet partners and stakeholders. This European Regions for Innovation in Agriculture, Food & Forestry (ERIAFF) -conference program is full of interesting speakers from the EU, food and nutrition safety relevant R&D -organizations, innovative companies and European regions. The conference provides networking opportunities for food entrepreneurs, researchers, regional authorities and decision makers via lectures, workshops, matchmaking and site visits.

THE THEME ‘High-Tech Agriculture’ covers High Tech topics in new innovations in agricultural technology and processes, like’ photonics, smart food systems, innovative processes and 3D scanning. The topic ’Nutrition’ deals with sustainable, safe and healthy diets (e.g. reducing overweight, alternative protein sources), as well pays attention to world food. Under the theme ‘Big Data’ ensuring high levels of food safety with the topics of digitalization and traceability will be discussed.
