SEAMK awarded the “Finland's Most Inspiring Workplaces 2025” recognition
SEAMK has received the Finland’s Most Inspiring Workplaces 2025 recognition in the latest Eezy Flow People Power employee survey. The recognition reflects both a high level of employee commitment and the organisation’s long-term, inclusive development of its operations. The award is granted annually to the top-performing organisations participating in the Eezy Flow People Power survey.
The People Power Index, which reflects the overall results of SEAMK’s employee survey, reached level AA in the most recent survey. This result is higher than the average for Finnish expert organisations and clearly above the average level for universities of applied sciences.
– Both the overall result and the indices used in the survey have developed in a positive direction. All areas are above average, and for the most part they have either improved or remained at their previous level, says President and CEO Jaakko Hallila.
SEAMK’s strengths are particularly related to leadership and organisational culture, as well as employer branding. Compared with the average level of universities of applied sciences, the strengths highlight similar themes as in the expert organisation benchmark, but also emphasise factors such as trust in leadership, listening to staff, and fairness and equal treatment.
SEAMK last received the Finland’s Most Inspiring Workplaces recognition in 2022, which was also the previous time the organisation participated in the People Power employee survey. The aim of the survey is to identify organisational strengths and areas for development from the perspectives of individual work, the immediate work community, and the organisation as a whole, as well as to promote the development of a more inclusive workplace culture.
The response period for the employee survey was from 11 August to 29 August 2025. A total of 347 responses were received, and the response rate increased compared to the previous survey conducted in 2022, reaching 81% (previously 76%).
Each year, nearly 200,000 employees respond to the People Power employee experience survey conducted by Eezy Flow(Opens in a new window). The Finland’s Most Inspiring Workplaces are selected based on an employee experience index calculated from the survey results. The recognition is awarded to workplaces that achieve the highest classifications (AA, AA+ and AAA) in the study.
