Application process
Fill in an online application at www.studyinfo.fi during the application period. Application closes on 22 January 2025 at 15.00 Finnish time (UTC+2). For more information on how to apply in joint application, please see the website Studyinfo.fi
Please note that applying through educational agents or organisations doesn’t offer any advantages in getting a study place.
Application fees
There will be an application fee when applying to higher education in 2025. Application fee is collected from applicants from countries outside EU/EEA. The application fee would not be charged for Finnish or EU citizens. Please read more about application fees at Studyinfo.fi.
Deadline to arrive to start your studies at SEAMK
New students who will be admitted to the studies beginning in the autumn 2025 must arrive at SEAMK Campus in Seinäjoki on 19 October 2025 at the latest. If students do not arrive by the given deadline and cannot present their original documents, their admission will be cancelled.
Please note, that studies will start already on 1 September. In Nursing degree programme it is necessary to participate in teaching at campus right from the beginning.
Original documents will be checked from admitted students
All new degree students who will be admitted to the English taught degree programmes at SEAMK, need to present their original documents when starting their studies. Original documents are compared to the documents which were attached to the application form. If the original documents are not presented by the given deadline or student has given false information, admission will be cancelled.

Admission results
The results of student selections will be published by 28 May 2025 at the latest. Admitted applicants must accept the study place and pay the tuition fee by 10 July 2025, 15.00 (+3 UTC) at the latest. Please see more information for new students at SEAMK.fi.
If you consider there has been a mistake in the admission process regarding admission or adaptment of the eligibility criteria, you may make a written request for correction to the Examination Board of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences within 14 days of receiving notification of the decision. Firstly, please familiarize yourself with the eligibility criteria of the study option and if needed, contact SEAMK Admission Services (admissions(at)seamk.fi). If your matter is still unclear after reading the eligibility criteria and contacting the admission services, you may make a written request for correction.
In order to be admitted to SEAMK, an applicant must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the specific admission. It is the duty of applicant or admitted student to check the email address that they have used when applying regularly and respond and act accordingly to given instructions. It is also recommended to check junk mail folder in case any emails end up there. Attach to the request any documents regarding the correction. Please note that SEAMK is not responsible for the actions, mistakes or delays caused by third parties for example postal offices or by the applicant themselves. SEAMK will not process a request in Joint Application if the request concerns a lower study option.
Any request for correction must make clear to what decision the person is appealing to, how the decision should be corrected and the grounds for making the request. The request for correction should also have contact information of the applicant and be signed by the person making the request.
The request for correction of admission may be made by making a written request for correction to the Examination Board of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences within 14 days of receiving notification of the decision, by 15.00 (UTC+3, Finnish time).
