Bachelor of Health Care, Nursing
The Bachelor Degree Programme in Nursing prepares students for a career as a Registered Nurse (RN), a healthcare professional with expertise across diverse care environments. Registered Nurses promote health, prevent illness, provide clinical care and rehabilitation for individuals, families, and communities.
The studies are conducted bilingually in the English and Finnish languages. The Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach is used to support the development of Finnish language skills. This enables students to work in Finnish health care after graduation.
In accordance to the European Union directives this programme includes theoretical studies, hands-on laboratory training, simulation-based learning, and supervised clinical training.
