What is meant by Pathway Studies?

  • The Pathway Studies are aimed at the secondary-education students of SeAMK’s partner institutions attending vocational secondary education or upper secondary school.
  • A student taking Pathway Studies completes studies included in SeAMK’s degree programmes while studying in their secondary-education programme. The Pathway studies are completed as studies of Open University of Applied Sciences.
  • The Pathway Studies are based on SeAMK’s Pathway Curricula.
  • The studies included in the Pathway Curricula are free of charge for the students of SeAMK’s secondary-education partner institutions.

SeAMK defines the criteria for the eligibility of students and publishes the separate application procedure at the Opintopolku.fi service. Eligibility based on Pathway Studies concerns the specific Degree Programme for which the student completed their Pathway Studies.
