CSS AI Forum - AI in Research: Introductory workshop

AI in Research, led by researcher Ali Tavakoli (SAMK), is an introductory workshop for those interested in exploring how AI can support research in a practical and responsible way. The workshop offers a general overview of useful AI tools for tasks such as searching literature, summarizing sources, improving writing, generating ideas, and organizing research work.

Alongside the opportunities, the session also highlights the limitations of AI and discusses important ethical issues, including reliability, bias, transparency, authorship, and responsible use in academic research. The workshop aims to provide participants with a balanced understanding of recent directions and recommendations regarding AI in research.
