The South Ostrobothnian university community is worried about the future of the province. During the past few years, the population has turned to a decline. The availability of labor limits economic growth in many sectors. Both industrial productivity and international activities are low.

We could use some good advice now! And the best ones will win some money! The university community in the province launches a project called E-P2030 Strong Again. The project will focus on finding ideas to boost the vitality and competitiveness of South Ostrobothnia. The aim is to return the province to its earlier growth path.

As a part of the project, an idea competition will be opened to students and staff of the university community (i.e. Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, the University Consortium of Seinäjoki and Higher Education Association of South Ostrobothnia). There are specific categories for the staff and the students.

In each category, the best ideas will be awarded prizes worth 2000 €, 1000 €, and 500 €. Additionally, among all participants, four prizes worth 250 € and four one day tickets to Provinssi Rock festival will be drawn.

The data gathered will be processed on an anonymous basis. Contact information will not be connected with answers. Only when awarding a participant, the contact information will be needed. You can submit your idea also anonymously. You can also participate in the competition as a team.

Participation form is on this page below this text or in: https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/B0855AD2689C1422

The competition is open from 5 March to 31 March 2019.
