Learning at SEAMK

Learning at SEAMK -pedagogical guidelines support teaching and learning in the changing operational environment. Teaching in line with the pedagogical guidelines responds to changes in working life and society and prepares our students for future.

The pedagogical guidelines support SEAMK’s values: SEAMK spirit, responsibility, entrepreneurship, internationalisation.  The guidelines contribute, in accordance with SEAMK’s Strategy, to the fulfilment of attractive teaching and motivated student experience.

The pedagogical guidelines are based on a socio-constructivist conception of learning, in which learning is seen as knowledge building, practical activity, and identity development through reflection.

The pedagogical guidelines provide a common basis, which experts in teaching and guidance implement using field-specific pedagogical solutions.

Our teachers develop their expertise and working life connections with national and international partners. We cooperate to implement high-quality teaching, guidance, and RDI to support learning.
