Open University of Applied Sciences
Open University of Applied Sciences (Open UAS) offers a flexible opportunity to study courses at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. In Open UAS, you can complete various courses and modules either online or in a group on the Seinäjoki campus. Open UAS can also serve as a pathway to become a degree student. Courses are available at both bachelor's (AMK) and master's (YAMK) levels. You can study specific subjects you are interested in, or subjects you need in order to maintain and improve your professional competencies.
Can I study at the Open UAS?
The studies of the Open University of Applied Sciences suit you if you:
- want to improve yourself or your work-life professional competencies
- are planning to apply to a university of applied sciences
- want to become familiar with studying at a university of applied sciences
- are not currently a degree student of SEAMK – as a SEAMK student, contact your own study councellor for study advice!

While aiming for a degree, options such as POLKU Pathway studies can assist you. SEAMK's Application with Open UAS Studies is intended for Open UAS students who are seeking a degree student place based on their Open UAS studies.
