School of Food and Agriculture

The number of students in the School of Food and Agriculture is 1000 and the number of academic staff is 60. Agricultural education began in Ilmajoki as early as 1875. The unit merged with SeAMK in 1992. The hospitality management education started in 1920 and the unit was merged with SeAMK in 1999.


The School of Food and Agriculture operates in the main campus in Seinäjoki and in the Ilmajoki campus (about 18 km from Seinäjoki and 360 km from Helsinki).
