Get to know the selection methods and the entrance exam

In degree programmes leading to a bachelor’s degree (excluding Bachelor of Culture and Arts, Cultural Management), students are accepted using the selection methods used in the universities of applied sciences, i.e. the selection based on matriculation examination or vocational basic qualification, and the UAS entrance exam. The number of starting places for certificate selections and the entrance examinations varies depending on the degree programme. You can find more information about the distribution of the number of starting places by selection method in the selection criteria of the Studyinfo service.

The UAS entrance examination is a common digital entrance examination of the universities of applied sciences, which is taken on your own laptop. Registration for the entrance exam happens during the application period on the Studyinfo service using the joint application application form.

In the Bachelor of Culture and Arts, Cultural Management programme and in the master degree programmes, students are selected based on their own, separate entrance examinations.
