Workshop on Informalisation of Care for Older Adults

SeAMK welcomes you to join Workshop on Informalisation of Care for Older Adults! International workshop takes places in School of Health Care and Social Work, Kalevankatu 35, Seinäjoki, Auditorium C0062. And it’s free of charge!

In all Nordic countries, growing numbers of increasingly old and frail individuals are living at home. This calls for new approaches in care policies and practices. Informal carers are the main providers of care for older adults and services tend to be scant. At the same time, services are marketised and digitalised. This workshop tackles the issues of informal care with high quality presentations of researchers and practice-oriented actors.

The event is organized in cooperation with University of Southern Denmark and Stockholm University.

Warmly welcome!

Minna Zechner, Helene Brodin, Katrine Vedel and Marie Konge Nielsen
